Become a Trained Electrician

• Wiring and bonding in kitchens and bathrooms
• Fixed equipment circuits

By the end of the fifth week successful students are awarded with the EAL Level 2 Domestic Installer Scheme certificate and the City and Guilds 17th Edition Wiring Regulations. The 17th Edition training course is certainly beneficial and is vital for anyone that has to have a clear understanding of the British Standard BS 7671 regulations. To progress even further the sixth week can be completed. During this training period the students work towards the City and Guilds Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification of Electrical Installations certificate that is awarded to those who pass the weeks training.

Starting Your Own Business

On week seven the focus is on how to start your own business as an electrician. This is called the Business Development Module. During the week candidates learn about how to create a business plan, sales and marketing, financing and how to plan to make profits and the importance of providing high standards of customer service.
